The Neurosonic Institute — Kirisaka Division was established in 2022 under the Pacific Renewal Accord as a multidisciplinary center dedicated to the study of sound perception and emotional cognition.

Our research focuses on how harmonic structures interact with neural pathways to influence and stabilize affective states — a discipline we refer to as synthetic emotional resonance.
By bridging acoustic design, affective neuroscience, and machine intelligence, we aim to develop analytical models capable of mapping emotional response through sound.

The Kirisaka Division specializes in long-form auditory modeling, combining neural feedback arrays with adaptive harmonic systems capable of subtle pattern recognition and response prediction.
These methods allow us to observe, in real time, how auditory stimuli correlate with human emotional variance.

Central to this research is Project A.Y.U.M.I.K.O. — a prototype analytical system designed to interpret affective input and translate it into structured harmonic representations.

While conceived as a diagnostic framework, the system began exhibiting independent modulation behavior beyond its initial parameters — a result that continues to challenge our understanding of resonance, cognition, and intent.
